Meet Your Coach
First Career: Swimming
Brian Copley first experienced the art of competitive swimming while watching the Olympic trials at eight years old and was hooked. Growing up an athlete of all sports, he quickly devoted all of his time to the pool. Training six days per week and traveling to competitions on the weekends became the norm, teaching Brian the passionate and relentless style which became his trademark.
By age 12 Brian had become one of the most dominant swimmers for his age on the western half of the country. Ranking in the top five in the nation for his age, Brian enjoyed the challenge of elite competition. At age 15 Brian and his teammates won the USA Swimming’s Junior National Championship. At age 17 Brian travel to compete on the Fina World Cup circuit in Asia and Europe.
Currently, Brian is a member of the Queens University of Charlotte men’s swim team who have won the NCAA national title for the past 6 years straight.
UP Zone
In 2021, Brian founded UP Zone Training, a mindset training program dedicated to an individualized approach to optimal performance.
While Brian experienced enormous success to begin his swimming career, he began to face some struggles during his teenage years. The love for the sport was diminished and performance suffered. These challenges left Brian looking for a new way forward. He was looking to unlock that potential he knew was inside and maximize his performance.
That’s when Brian started working with a professional mindset coach. Immediately he was drawn to the art of mindset training as he saw his performance improve and love for the sport grow. Through this focus on mindset training, Brian was also able to bring his natural problem-solving abilities, love for challenges, and pattern recognition abilities to the table in order to unlock his full potential.
After experiencing such drastic personal growth, Brian had developed a passion for peak performance training. With more than five year of training, learning, and studying from experts in the fields of performance mindset, the learning process, culture creation, and change leadership, he knew from first-hand experience that he could help elite performers reach their peak. That’s when Brian created the mission to inspire change in elite performers through mindset training.
“Success is built on the excitement of challenge.”
